Draft Member Qualifications and Commitments
Qualifications:
- To have skills pertinant to the vital aspects of defining and maintaining the goals of the community and it's educational mission,
- To commit resources of currency and labor to get the community going until it reaches economic sustainability,
- To dedicate time and personal committment to actualizing the community mission,
- To work for the good of the community and be willing to secede issues to the consensus of the group,
- To be willing to spend the necessary time in general and committee meetings,
- To be willing to do all necessary tasks both humble and high, per ones physical ability.
Personal committment to:
- Have full understanding of and absolute commitment to yourself and the community, to make this endeavor succeed.
- Embrace living in community, maintain positive relations with others, and participate in a co-established means of conflict resolution, when need arises.
- Follow a code of non-violence: to not willfully cause harm to yourself, the community, or the land,
- Not participate in illegal activity on community property,
- In public, act with consideration that you represent the whole community.
