- Do you have help with your garden?
- How much time would you estimate you spend in the garden each week?
- Where does your water come from?
- How do you replenish your gardens fertility? Where do these nutrients come from?
- Do you compost and use it in your garden?
- Do you grow food crops every year?
- What are you currently growing?
- Which crops/plants do you enjoy growing the most?
- Which crops/plants do you feel do the best here?
- Have you had many problems with pests? If so, what ones? Do they affect some plants more then others?
- Do you spray for pest control? If so, Organic or Conventional?
- Have you shared surplus produce with friends and neighbors?
- If given the chance and the land would you be willing to grow surplus crops/ plants for you friends and neighbors?
- Do you save you own seed?
- Where do you get your seeds/plants?
